The Opportunity:

Your work will be reaching millions of people globally every single day across all our platforms. Some audiences will be familiar with our brand and some will be finding it for the first time, your work must be able to capture the attention of both at the same time via your creative, experimental and innovative social first story-telling, As a Social Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating thumb-stopping social videos to drive maximum growth and engagement with our audience across all social channels. You will play a crucial role in crafting the edit of our social content to elevate our brand and engage our communities. This position requires an exceptional understanding of various social media platforms, trends and algorithms.

Key Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with the wider marketing and social team to develop creative concepts for social media videos that focus on driving the best outcomes across individual channels. 
• Edit videos to create impactful content, incorporating graphics, effects, and music to enhance the overall video quality and increase engagement
• Ensure videos are optimised for different social media platforms and adhere to brand guidelines
• Obsess over data-led social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions in your edit
• Manage and organise video footage and assets
• Assist with video shoots, including setting up and operating equipment
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to continuously improve our social media video edits
• Experiment with new ideas and concepts that deliver measurable results and gains across all platforms 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding in our video edits across all social media channels
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while consistently exemplifying our culture and values

Requirements

Must Haves 

• Extensive experience as a video editor, preferably in a social media or brand agency 
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
• Proficient in graphics, effects, and music licencing 
• Knowledge of social media platforms, their video specifications, trends and algorithms
• Exceptional commitment to organisation and organisational tools and software to ensure working priorities are tightly managed 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• A passion for social media and staying ahead of industry trends
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively, which can regularly require working outside of Monday-Friday 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts.

Nice To Haves

• A keen interest in AI & examples of how it has or will create optimal Social Video outcomes
• Experience in a similar role, in a YouTube first or Personal Brand led environment
• Budget management skills
