An Accounts Payable Manager job in Woodinville, WA is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). This key position will be responsible for the management of accounts payable, including invoice processing, expense reporting, payment processing, general ledger reconciliation and issue resolution. Progressive experience in accounting operations (specifically AP), internal controls and financial systems is required, as well as the ability to interact with all levels of management, cross-functional teams and business partners.

Accounts Payable Manager job responsibilities include:
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable to process invoices and payments compliantly, efficiently and timely to meet service levels and achieve performance metrics
- Maintain productive relationships with internal and external partners and prioritize work to promote and deliver a high level of proactive service and degree of customer satisfaction
- Monitor accounts payable processes for adherence to policies and procedures to maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure that processes are working effectively and efficiently
- Oversee the month-end accounts payable closing including preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure financial reporting is accurate and timely
- Manage employee expense reporting and corporate card processes to ensure compliance with policies and timely and accurate payment
- Manage vendor master data, vendor onboarding, and vendor add and change requests to ensure accurate and complete information to support purchasing, payment and reporting
- Manage team performance including hiring, training, developing, motivating, scheduling, monitoring and coaching to ensure that service levels and performance metrics are achieved
- Recommend changes to processes to support continuous improvement efforts including documenting and maintaining procedures, developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), and leading process automation projects
- Manage statutory compliance for accounts payable to include maintaining invoice and W9 documentation and performing annual 1099 and escheatment filings timely and accurately
Position Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor degree or 7+ years of accounts payable experience
- Experience with AP automation and large ERP system (JDE experience preferred)
- Leadership experience, ability to coach and mentor employees effectively
- Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 1099 and escheatment reporting experience
- Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (Word, and Excel).
Your Compensation:
$92,552-$120,296/yr. based upon relevant experience.
