Compliance Manager - Data Centres - DACH region at MGAC

Job Descrption
We are a global, boutique construction consultancy providing cost and project management services working across the real estate sectors.
We are experiencing enormous success within critical environments on an international scale working with both private developers and hyper-scalers. As we build our data centre team in EMEA, we are looking for an accomplished Compliance Manager who is happy with frequent travel to Europe working on a large data centre project or will consider permanent relocation to the DACH region (Austria, Germany Switzerland)

Does this sound like you?
- You are likely to come from a commercial management or project management background within construction
- Compliance management is a key skill in which you have substantial experience having managed compliance matters within complex construction projects previously
- Data Centre experience is preferred but otherwise you will likely have experience in large industrial or complex tech projects such as pharmaceutical / oil & gas / nuclear etc
- You already live in or are interested in relocating to Europe or you are happy to travel to the DACH region (Austria, Switzerland, Germany)
- German language skills would be beneficial
What you'll be doing (and why you'll love it)
- Collaborate and pull together the compliance of our team that are overseeing the construction of a complex, hi-tech and efficient data centre
- Acting as the single point of contact for all data centre audit and compliance projects, initiatives, and ongoing operational activities
- Implement a compliance plan which demonstrates a site-wide framework for communicating, validating and enforcing all statutory and owner compliance requirements on the project site
- Promote a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of data centre activities
