Cable Techncian at Latitude

Job Descrption
Responsibilities:Pull and route cable through specified pathways, including conduits, trays, and walls.Terminate cables, including coaxial, fiber optic, and Ethernet connections, according to project requirements.Install and secure cable trays, supports, and related equipment to support cable runs.Build out telecom rooms, including mounting racks, patch panels, and other hardware.Test and troubleshoot cable systems to ensure proper functionality and signal strength.Document work performed, including cable routes, terminations, and test results.Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience as a Cable Technician or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of cable installation techniques, including pulling, terminating, and hanging cables.Familiarity with telecom room build-outs, including mounting racks and patch panels.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to job sites as needed.
