At Valeo Foods UK, we're dedicated to crafting delicious confectionary treats that bring joy to millions. Our Blackpool site is at the heart of this mission, and we're looking for a talented Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team to new heights of success.
Your Role: Reporting to the Factory Manager, you'll be responsible for leading our engineering team through strong and effective leadership. Your duties will include:
- Developing and implementing maintenance strategies
- Improving key engineering KPIs such as downtime, productivity, and OEE
- Managing the engineering budget
- Introducing maintenance strategies to support business objectives
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- Effective leadership skills
- Understanding of engineering compliance requirements
- Recognised qualification in engineering and management
- Experience in building high-performing teams
- Sound commercial skills with stakeholder interaction
- Full understanding of CMMS and PPM systems
