Maintenance Technician

The Musco manufacturing team is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to work from our Oskaloosa office. This position will focus on being responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
What you will do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Perform tasks including, but not limited to; mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines, equipment and tools.
- Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Evaluate existing production tools and machinery for reliability and assess corrective measures.
- Troubleshoot and maintain machine control systems.
- Modify and troubleshoot existing PC/PLC/HMI programs as required.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering to debug and launch new equipment into production.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you need to be successful:
- 5 years experience in Maintenance field
- Knowledge and experience in hydraulics, tooling, machine controls, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical maintenance procedures
- Experience reading and utilizing schematics and technical equipment service manuals
- Good verbal and written skills
- Ability to work with teams.
- Computer knowledge windows, Microsoft
- Familiar with PM systems
- Working knowledge of lock-out/tag-out
- Extensive knowledge on safe operation of a variety of hand and power tools
Other special requirements:
- Some “off hours” work may be required to service equipment that cannot be down for maintenance during Production operating hours.
