LOCATION:   Full Time Remote Position, start date 06/25/2024

PAY: $18.00 / hour base plus monthly Incentive. Estimated Annual Income $45,000 - $65,000

ABOUT THE ROLE

Inbound Travel Sales Associate reports to the Inbound Supervisor in the Customer Sales department. Candidates would be responsible to create happy guests by answering incoming phone calls and convert leads into deposited passengers on our travel products. They will greet incoming calls from direct customers, to educate, consult, and help transform travel dreams into vacation realities. This role will also handle leads as assigned, manage follow up with guests, as well as participate in campaigns as assigned. 

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED 

  • Reaching and exceeding sales objectives by selling travel packages and product up-sells
  • Handling inbound and outbound sales calls and e-mails using GVI’s sales protocols
  • Excellent Computer skills – we use multiple systems to engage with our work and clients. 
    • Excel, Ring Central, Outlook, Intranet, Web based and other company specific systems
  • Ability to navigate throughout multiple computer programs throughout the day 
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Friendly and able to connect with our customers 
  • Maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring customers receive accurate, timely, and quality information about the products we are supplying
  • Answering customer inquiries by maintaining knowledge of key differences, mail campaigns, product knowledge, and destination expertise
  • Cultivating and maintaining on-going relationships with customers and influencing product loyalty
  • Understanding of Assumptive Close and how to take a Lead to a deposit 
  • Developing business relationships and fostering a spirit of cooperation with GVI departments as needed to serve the needs of customers

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS PREFERRED  

  • Travel industry experience
  • Previous Call Center Experience  
  • The preferred candidate will hold an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; six months to one-year related experience in inbound sales work, and travel industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Minimum of 1 year in a Sales or similar role 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Receive incoming calls and create happy guests
  • Engage with customers via phone and email 
  • Call out or email to guests regularly to follow up with existing customers
  • Responsible for hitting clear Monthly sales goals
  • Maintain call handling expectations
  • Engage in Lead Campaigns as assigned
  • Engage in regular training to enhance skills 
  • Meet regularly with Supervisor to discuss metrics and performance
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and on Teams Chats 
  • Rotating Saturdays required. Will receive one day off that week to compensate
  • Overtime as needed
