We're holding an assessment centre for a number of roles in our Twinings Strand Store, with an assessment day due to be held in May.

Key Responsibilities
Focus will be on supporting the sales on the shop floor as well as enhancing the customers shopping experience through friendly and welcoming interactions and a baseline knowledge of the products and services that we offer.
Support the team from an operational standpoint, working on the tills, taking bookings for the Masterclass Programme as well as handling incoming deliveries and restocking the shop floor product storage.
Maintenance of the store as the historic Twinings flagship premises is of great importance and you'll be required to know the procedures for looking after various elements of the shopfloor and the back of the house such as resalting the dishwashers, and proper care for the mosaic floor.
Coverage of the shopfloor tea bar and the responsibility of brewing, serving, and explaining the wide array of blends and single origin and estate teas we offer here at the Strand to customers.
Running the Masterclasses in the bespoke Tasting Room. These two-hour sessions will require strong knowledge of both tea as a subject, its history and Twinings own history as well as skills in oration and public performance. The Masterclasses are the of great importance to the Strand as we are the first face of Twinings to many of our customers and the Masterclass is a special event that allows us to showcase our history and induct people into the love of tea.
Facilitating, helping organise and catering to bespoke experiences, including the provision of needed materials, designing of the event’s menus or orders of serve, and liaising with elements of the broader Twinings team in preparation of the event.
