The Regional Executive is responsible for the management and development of the Route to Market Strategy for Southern & Eastern Europe. Collaborating with cross-functional partners in the planning & implementation of the brand activation across outlet / channel priorities for TwiningsOvo (TwO). This includes visibility programs, promotions and trade marketing activations
The Regional Executive will inspire excellence in execution by the Distribution Partners.  With a focus on the consumer experience at point of purchase and consumption, will work together with Functional partners to create a market growth vision for the brand.  They will create a clear commercial strategy and implement this in a sustainable, profitable way.
Please note that this role is fixed term until 28 February 2025. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create & deliver an aligned, annual operating plan that selects and prioritises the right initiatives and marketing tactics. (covering everything from volume/ share, to price/ mix/ value, to margin/ profit/ costs)
  • Recommend and implement compelling incentives to secure focus on the brand and achievement of targets (that all deliver <1 year payback for selected markets as directed by the Regional Manager)
  • Lead regular performance and promotional tracking processes to ensure ongoing grip and adjustments towards targets
  • Identifies, evaluates and negotiates new sales and marketing growth opportunities across Commercial/Pricing Strategy, Sales Channel Strategy and New Product Development.
  • Has a clear understanding of the value chain, for both TwiningsOvo and the Distribution Partner.
  • Maintains a schedule of distributions contracts and plans for contract renewal. Supports in the assessment of the route to market and research into alternatives.
  • Has an aligned, annual Purchase Plan with each Distribution Partner as directed by the Regional Manager, that delivers the right level of ambition, supports the required investment, and is consistent with the contract detail.
  • Implements a structured routine of meetings and communications with key partners (including retailers, Distribution customers and Distributor(s) to develop a clear understand of market opportunities and build strong stakeholder bonds. 
  • Understands who impacts Twinings’ performance within the Distribution Partner and develops and implements a contact strategy that results in the right level of influence.
  • Orchestrates required internal resources essential to the above plan on an ongoing basis.
    Work systematically through the Distribution Excellence (DEX) framework, to achieve consistent, best practice commercial standards
  • Work alongside TwiningsOvo central team to refine and implement Model Outlet (perfect store), based on DEX Tools and methodology
  • Clarity on channel and customer segmentation with a vision and priority ranking for model outlet. 
  • Set annual KPI’s to improve brand presence and visibility in line with shopper marketing targets
  • Run market visits when needed, to ensure execution excellence and identify available growth opportunities
  • Takes personal ownership of the results for the regions and portfolio, taking total accountability for the full P&L, and every aspect of performance.
  • Provides ongoing performance analysis and commentary across the region and identifies potential impacts on the business outlook. Reflects this through the financial re-forecast.
  • Understands the return-on-investment of spend and uses this insight to improve the financial effectiveness of future plans.
  • Monitors and provides continuous update on both macro and micro factors across environmental, economic, technological and distributor company changes that could have impact our business. 
  • Provide monthly competitor activity report to drive greater understanding of in market performance
  • Owns the order-to-cash process, ensuring credit-worthiness, and prompt payment in line with contract terms.
  • Delivers ongoing compliance to all ABF standards (eg anti-bribery, anti-corruption, anti-competition).

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 1-5 years in distributor sales and management experience
  • Understand Single and Multiple Distributors (distributor and sub-distributor) system and able to manage the route to market project
  • Highly motivated to work in market
  • Experience in sales team organisation development
