The Senior Marketing Communications Executive will support the growth and professionalisation of Alcumus SafeContractor’s email and social channels, ensuring that it delivers maximum revenue generation for the division.  *Please note that this role is being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.* Application deadline date - 12th February 2024.*

What that means day to day

You will be responsible for driving the success of Alcumus' email and social media channels for our product portfolio, maximising engagement and revenue generation. 

 Working closely with the wider marketing team, you will ensure that we have a carefully planned contact schedule that delivers engaging and value-add communications to our customers and prospects. 

You will also ensure that our email and social channels support our premium market positioning; and will work closely with our design studio to ensure that the that the style, tone of voice and format of our communications are consistent and aligned with the Alcumus SafeContractor brand. 

  • Writing and building engaging email journeys (via Hubspot) and social posts and working closely with Marketing Managers to ensure that channel performance is continuously monitored, reviewed and optimised for maximum revenue generation. 
  • Completing pre-flight checks to ensure that the quality and accuracy of communications is prioritised at all times. 
  • Ensuring we have relevant, personalised email journeys in place to acquire, retain and win back lost customers. 
  • Utilising Hubspot to score email and social content to help progress customers from prospects to leads. 
  • Managing a monthly divisional newsletter which is to be segmented by audience with the aim of engaging existing customers and progressing prospects to leads. 
  • Developing a communications schedule to provide visibility of the communications that our customers are receiving at any point in time. 
  • A/B testing, reporting on performance and facilitating continuous improvements for our email and social channels. 
  • Monitoring industry trends and developments to ensure we are leading the way in our use of email and social media. 
  • Working closely with the wider marketing team and key stakeholders to share information, drive best practice and facilitate continuous improvement. 

What you’ll need to be successful

You will have a strong marketing background with a focus on copy-writing with demonstrable experience in delivering high performing email and social campaigns. You will be a customer-centric individual with great understanding of customer journeys. An analytical mindset is crucial, with an ability to measure and improve performance. You will have experience in a similar commercially focused role, with an understanding of how email and social can drive revenue generation. Attention to detail is essential, with a passion for delivering excellence, with a results-driven mindset. You will have an understanding of how email and social complement other marketing channels. 

Desirable:
  •  Formal email and social media marketing training. 
  •  Hubspot proficient- with a desire to continuously develop own knowledge.
