What that means day to day
- Manage a portfolio of clients and be the first point of contact for all account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Embed our solutions within clients to deliver ongoing revenue to achieve/surpass monthly sales targets.
- Negotiate client contracts.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets.
- Forecast and track key success metrics.
- Prepare Account Plans for all clients in portfolio to maximise revenue in line with client requirements.
- Provide bi-weekly client portfolio updates/progress/opportunities to Line Manager.
- Collaborate with Account Management team to share best practice.
What you’ll need to be successful
You will need to demonstrate experience as a successful Account Manager, with the ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of organisation, including executive and C-level. Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs, ideally within a SaaS environment. Proven ability to juggle multiple clients at a time is key, whilst maintaining attention to detail & client retention.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience meeting ambitious individual sales targets whilst building a strong internal network to support strong client relationships, generating ongoing revenue opportunities.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, MS Dynamics) and MS Office (particularly MS excel).
