This role sits within a small close knit Customer Support team and is vital to the daily operations of Alcumus. As a Customer Support Technician you will be supporting our customers and ensuring they have an amazing expereince. We realise we are all far better working together, not only with our immediate team but also wider business areas. We’re always collaborating, sharing ideas and knowledge to help improve our working environment.

What that means day to day
- Dealing with incoming queries in a timely manner - answering technical and software queries via email and phone.
- Being the first point of contact for any HR queries, ensuring all details are correct before it is passed onto the HR team.
- Ensuring new customer are engaged with Citrus HR and a value add service is provided - Keeping in touch to guide them through the Citrus HR journey, onboarding calls are prime time to sing the praises of what we offer.
- Be the eyes and ears for the development team. Report bugs, issues, and feedback with all the details.
- Collaborate - Share your knowledge within the team, helping to make software and processes even better!
What you’ll need to be successful
Customer service experience and attention to detail are the most important skills for this role; While previous experience working within a customer support team would be advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement for this position.
You will need to be confident in handling customer enquiries via telephone, and email. Adhere to processes and deliver excellent customer service, fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders demonstrating the ability to drive value for both the customer and the organisation.
You will need to be organised, striving to complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines and show initiative by attempting to find solutions independently, while being open to asking for help when needed.
Our Customer Support Technicians work as part of a close-knit team so it is important for you to be a team player, working well within a team setting and able to work towards a common objective with your peers.

Salary for the Customer Support Technician role kicks off at £22,000 and can climb to £24,000 based on your experience and degree credits.Interested but don’t feel you meet all the requirements?
