Job Descrption
The Archdiocese of Baltimore is seeking to hire a part-time evening custodian. The applicant will ensure the school is clean and ready for students and staff at all times.
Essential Functions:
- Knowledgeable regarding sanitizing rooms, including bathrooms.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Follow directions and be able to maintain a cleaning schedule that will change depending on the day of the week.
- Perform a variety of custodial maintenance duties including but not limited to: dusting, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming floors, snow removal and ice treatment, replenishing restroom supplies
- Perform variety of custodial sanitizing duties including but not limited to: cleaning, disinfecting floors, walls, windows, sinks, counters toilets, kitchens, water fountains, woodwork, furniture, air intake screens, louvers, fixtures and appliances
Position Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Must be able to read, and follow directions of supervisor
- Ability to climb stairs while carrying equipment and/or supplies
- Must be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in difficult weather conditions, including heat and cold, snow and rain, etc.
