Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our therapists, nurses, caseworkers, and foster parents in delivering exceptional care to our patients. As a Therapist Technician, you will serve as the friendly and resourceful face of our facility, ensuring efficient patient management processes and maintaining a clean and accessible medical office.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments and coordinate tests for patients in collaboration with Therapy Blocks Staff, therapists, Child Haven’s team, and foster teams.
- Work with doctors and case workers to acquire medical scripts when needed.
- Record and organize patient medical records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Ensure all schedules are filled and facilitate the transfer of children between Child Haven living areas and designated areas for tele-therapy.
- Assist potential foster families in engaging in tele-health services with potential foster children.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource for case workers, potential foster families, and administrative staff regarding tele-health services.
- Manage the upkeep and maintenance of the office to create a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
- Facilitate communication between patients, visitors, and medical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies to support the needs of the office and medical staff.
- Assist therapists in therapy designated activities, such as grabbing equipment and cleaning up as needed.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Education in a medical field preferred.
- Experience as an administrative assistant with strong organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management processes.
- Familiarity with patient management software systems.
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment.
- Experience in foster care, either as a foster parent or through working in foster care, is highly desirable.
- Fluency in multiple languages such as Spanish is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a flexible work schedule.
Additional Information
We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function and level. Final offer/contract amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skillset, work experience and languages, and may vary from the amounts listed below.
The pay range for this position is: $18-$20/hr
Office location: 601 N Pecos Rd, Las Vegas NV 89101
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm
