Why We Need you!
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager that partners with engineering and UX to jointly deliver valuable and differentiating capabilities to customers for our market leading Ivanti Neurons product portfolio for Enterprise Service Management.
Interacting on a regular basis with customers, the Senior Product Manager understands how the targeted enterprise customers work in the area of Enterprise Service Management, defines the problems to be solved and jobs be done, and acts as the voice of the customer during the design and development process to ensure that any new product capabilities solve meaningful customer problems. The Senior Product Manager also supports the ideation, design, technical development, and launch of innovative new products and modules in support of the continued evolution of the Ivanti’s Enterprise Service Management portfolio.
As part of the role, the candidate needs to understand the mechanics of the enterprise software market, understand requirements to deliver successful SaaS services, and needs to have business acumen to make smart decisions to optimize return on investment for the Ivanti ESM product line. Key to the success of the position is to be able to develop and maintain good business relationships with cross-functional teams, which are essential to the successful adoption of new capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish and foster relationships that are based on trust and respect with all members of the Product Team(s), including Engineering & UX Design teams – this is essential to jointly design and build outstanding products and capabilities that our customers love.
- Lead and collaborate on new product ideas ad feature development, representing the voice of the customer. Define use cases, expected value outcomes for our customers, acceptance criteria (functional and non-functional), and support the user experience definition.
- Prioritize requirements from various stakeholders to deliver the most value for both the company and our customers. Assess customer enhancement requests and requirements against business needs and long-term priorities.
- Continually interface with customers / prospects in our target markets to understand how they work, to identify their problems and to find innovative solutions.
- Create customer feedback loops as part of the development process, such as leading design partnership sessions and driving beta programs. Test hypotheses using concept reviews, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Define product roadmap in context of the wider Ivanti and ESM strategy.
- Work with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams and enable them to understand the target market, product positioning, product key benefits, and product roadmap.
- Understand the competitive landscape to better position the product, define differentiation, and to guide future development.
- Actively advocate for the product and Ivanti in relevant communities. Communicate the roadmap and strategy to customers and partners. Publicly articulate the benefits of Ivanti’s products. Deliver demos, videos and presentations to customers, partners, and other external audiences.
- Track customer adoption of select product capabilities and identify opportunities to further improve adoption.
- Work with Ivanti Account Teams, Support, PS and other stakeholders to respond to customer situations.
- Be a contributing member around internal process improvement initiatives. Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where processes can be fluid.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- This position can be remote, requiring virtual collaboration with Product and Engineering teams at various locations, incl. but not limited to: San Jose, US, and Bangalore, India.
- At least 5 years relevant experience in a product management role for a commercially available SaaS product, in an environment with agile, customer-centric product development practices.
- Multiple years of experience with enterprise IT practices, ideally in the IT Service Management area
- PM experience with ITSM market and products is preferred.
- Experience working with product, engineering, and operations to build, execute and test technical user-centric designs that lead to successful product delivery solutions.
- Ideally a bachelor’s degree or higher
- Willingness and ability to occasionally travel to different Ivanti offices (incl. international) – less than 20%.
- Desire and ability to not just meet but exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to lead, manage and work with remote, cross-functional teams. Must be able to win the respect and trust of their peer group.
- Experience with high levels of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a consistently fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Skills:
- Broad understanding of software engineering lifecycle, including planning, design & implementation, UX, testing, release practices and operational best practices.
- Hands-on experience with writing good product requirements, sketching prototypes, defining roadmap presentations and other product management activity.
- Hands-on expertise in effective usage of development planning tools (such as Aha, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Jira) and reporting tools (such as Power BI, Salesforce reports)
- Good verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and convincing presentation skills. Ability to effectively manage discussions and drive to decisions with key stakeholders across global geographies.
- Broad understanding of successfully working in a fast-paced enterprise SW company. Ability to influence team and outside partners on challenging projects / initiatives, obtain stakeholder buy in, and to see the initiatives to fruition with only high-level oversight and goal setting.
- Passion for professional development and sharing good practices with other team members. Drive for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with customer, partners, and with the wider technology community.
Preferred Capabilities:
- Curiosity of the market competition to explore “art of what is possible” within our product and determine success of the product and its features within the market space.
- Experience with platform-based software solutions.
- Good understanding of enterprise IT practices beyond ITSM, including DevOps/Agile and product-team centric organizational structure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail and extraordinary organizational skills.
- Experience with pricing of enterprise SaaS solutions.
Salary: $115,000.00- $184,000.00
