Credit Karma is looking for a seasoned Director II of Data Science who is passionate about applying machine learning to solve financial problems for our millions of members, can effectively manage and scale data scientists and managers to drive a meaningful portion of Credit Karma’s revenue - while building an organizational culture of operational excellence. Data Science plays a ubiquitous role in Credit Karma’s product, serving as the foundation for core machine learning capabilities that drive monetization, personalization, and a value-centric experience for our members. As such, this role is highly cross-functional and requires tight partnerships with a wide range of functions - including engineering, product, business, finance and analytics.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building and scaling AI-powered monetization strategies, while leveraging ML operational excellence to drive growth. They will possess exceptional leadership skills, capable of effectively collaborating with senior executives and navigating competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with poise and agility.
