Scope:
BDT & MSD is looking to hire an investment analyst for a top-performing Corporate Credit team that manages assets for Michael Dell and other third parties. Candidates must have a genuine interest in financial markets, a strong work ethic, and a desire to collaborate in a team environment.
The Corporate Credit team manages public and private market investment strategies including high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, special situations, and direct lending. Analysts will review and analyze a variety of unique investment situations across a wide variety of industries. The role will require creative thinking, multitasking and strong technical skills.
On the job, analysts will provide support for the sourcing, underwriting and credit analysis of potential new investments. Analysts will be expected to research companies and industries, produce financial models, speak with industry experts, interact with bankers and company executives in meetings, and develop a thesis on various investment situations. We are looking for candidates with 0-3 years of relevant work experience in an investment banking analyst program or buy-side credit investment firm. The team will provide training in financial modeling, analysis, presentation skills, and any other areas that new analysts want to focus on as they grow in their role.
