Your opportunity
We are currently looking for a Manager of Credentialing who will assist in the day-to-day management of Vytalize enterprise Credentialing. The right candidate will embrace prioritizing the most impactful work, have strengths in rapport building, and enjoy working on a dynamic team of talented individuals working to achieve strategic success through efficient management of value-based programs.
What You Will Do
Understands and contributes to the Vytalize provider data management strategy.
Designs and establishes credentialing, re-credentialing, and practice relations policies, procedures, and workflows to support the centralized credentialing program.
Ensures all credentialing, re-credentialing, audit management, and practice relations policies and procedures follow compliant regulatory requirements.
Defines and maintains credentialing standards and criteria aligned with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational goals.
Stays updated with changes in credentialing regulations and industry trends and proposes adjustments to the program accordingly.
Ensures compliance with and monitors regulatory standard changes aligning with credentialing regulatory bodies.
Identify lapse in processes/credentialing
Collaborates with internal stakeholders to provide insight on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Oversees centralized end-to-end credentialing process for all healthcare providers connected to Vytalize business.
Audits and assesses the effectiveness and efficiency of both delegated and non-delegated credentialing end-to-end processes.
Oversees and communicates credentialing teams productivity, work quality, accuracy rates, and recommends process improvements and/or resource estimates as needed.
Coordinates cross-functional collaboration and workstreams with Revenue Cycle Management in relation to downstream financial impact analysis.
Participates in Payer meetings as needed.
Oversight of additional Credentialing, reconciliation, and auditing projects as needed
What will make you successful here
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field preferred
MHA / MBA preferred.
Certified Professional Medical Services Manager (CPMSM) Preferred
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in healthcare required.
Minimum of 3 years in VBC operations with a focus of Credentialing required.
A firm understanding of credentialing regulatory guidelines.
Strong ability to build engaged relationships with provider partners and internal stakeholders.
A firm understanding of relationships among healthcare stakeholders to include primary care providers, specialists, hospitals, and ancillary providers, from both delivery and financial perspectives.
An understanding of fee for service and capitation payment methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Entrepreneurial spirit, a sense of ownership and comfortable operating independently.
Solution oriented with the ability to think strategically and creatively in decision-making
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Must be able to work a hybrid schedule in Smithtown, NY, 2-3 days per week
