Coordinate with various departments on incoming groups and ensure accuracy of group billing in accordance with HEI standards.
This is an entry level accounting position.
$18.00/hour
Responsibilities
- Post payments from clients, reconcile and bill all Accounts Receivable
- Follow up with outstanding aged balances & submit monthly AR report
- Address group billing accuracy and guest inquiries
- Maintain group deposits and credit applications
- Weekly billing for non group accounts with approved credit
- Monthly reconciliation of accounts payable vendor statements
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associates Degree preferred but not required
- Accounting and Hotel experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Efficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to use 10 key calculator
- Effective communication skills
