Our mission is to power and grow our clients’ Wealth franchises through differentiated experiences, financial solutions, and insights. We are doing this through a state-of-the-art digital wealth management platform, that will enable banks and other financial institutions in the GCC to grow and further penetrate affluent, HNW and UHNW investor segments.
While still leveraging the capabilities and knowledge of large organizations, our fintech is a startup with truly cross-functional and agile teams.
This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting opportunity right from its inception, as we look to build our organization, design, and build the product and go-live with the first client in the next 12 months.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints
Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and stakeholder input
Develop and maintain an intuitive and cohesive information architecture for the WealthTech platform
Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure seamless integration of design into the development process
Design visually appealing interfaces that align with our brand identity and enhance the overall user experience
Create designs that are responsive and optimized for various devices, ensuring a consistent and delightful user experience across platforms
Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive design system to streamline the design process and maintain consistency
Collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to bring designs to life
Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale to the team and stakeholders
Stay informed about the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate best practices into our design processes
Ensures development of compelling visual designs that align with brand standards
Tracks user experience metrics and reports on the success of UX improvements, including analytics
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent
7+ years of experience in designing user interface, conducting user research, developing information architecture, and designing software proficiency
Experience in financial services, fintech, ideally in B2B context
Understand the interdependence between customer needs, business expectations, and technical requirements and ability to drive a reasoned discussion on this subject and articulate the value of a design choice
Ability to manage complex problems and able to deliver elegant, intuitive customer experiences
Combined skills in User Research, Interaction Design, Visual Design
Ability to plan, conduct, and synthesize user research and usability testing at various stages of the design process
Skilled at creating interaction design solutions for desktop, web, and mobile applications
Strong visual design skills, able to create compelling, branded, high-fidelity product screens
Familiar working with design systems that consistently scale across platforms
Strong communication skills with ability to articulate the value of a design choice to users and non-designer stakeholders
