The Division of Student Affairs is seeking a Program Coordinator II to oversee a variety of projects within the division. Operating as a staff member within the Student Involvement and Leadership Office and primarily housed in Student Media.
A successful candidate will oversee a variety of projects supporting multiple departments in the Division of Student Affairs. The position will also lend support to the efforts of inclusion & belonging under the direction of the USU Student Media Program Coordinator III. This position will assist in managing experiential learning aspects of student media and provide marketing and communications support to student affairs and the overall mission of the university.
Division of Student Affairs Responsibilities:The successful candidate will handle marketing and communications projects from start to finish with total ownership while utilizing resources within Student Media and University Marketing and Communications (UMAC). They will create and execute marketing and communications strategies, plans and campaigns. Projects may include, but are not limited to:
Student media responsibilities:Within student media, they will be responsible for assisting in the management, supervision and operation of marketing facets, including but not limited to The Utah Statesman, Aggie Radio 92.3 KBLU-LP and Bluelight Media. They will help students develop industry-standard work to assist in equipping them with the tools to be successful by routinely evaluating management; marketing and advertising; business operations; and communications.
