Under the direction of the department manager, the Medical Assistant will be assisting the team in referral management for High-Risk patients and helping to assist with patient needs.

Requirements
Responsibilities/Day in the Life:
Receive new patient referrals from clients
Create charts for all new patients
Input medical information in new chart
Help Care Coordinators with patient needs as applicable
Foster relationships with their team to ensure the CareHarmony culture is positive and supportive.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Great attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Excellent professional presence when dealing with colleagues
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet critical deadlines.
Fundamental Skills with Microsoft Office Suite
Required Education and Experience:
Medical Assistant certificate must be active and in good standing
Physical Requirements
To have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; and extensive reading.
To remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time
To speak clearly and listen attentively, both in person and by telephone for an extended period of time
To type with both hands
To understand, process, and take thorough notes in real-time on telephone conversations
