We’re looking for a Forklift Driver to join our team in Spalding, Lincolnshire on a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- To ensure all pallets are moved to the correct chambers
- Ensuring all pallets are scanned to correct locations
- Re-stacking mixed/unstable pallets
- Ensuring pallets are placed correctly into ripening/blasting chamber
- Ensuring a safe working environment including safe pallet condition and mechanical handling equipment
- Meeting ripening team efficiency targets
- Ensuring hygiene standards and policies are adhered to at all times
- Working alongside the FTA team to ensure all samples are collected before pallets are put away
Requirements
Key Attributes:
- Must hold a valid and recognised Counterbalance or POEP truck license
- Minimum of one year working with either a Counterbalance or POEP truck
- Must have basic computer operating knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Able to work under own initiative
- Good organisational skills
- Reliable and flexible approach to working hours
