We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Spalding
Requirements
- To ensure that goods are assembled, despatched and recorded correctly.
- To comply with Health and Safety, Food Safety and other relevant procedures.
- Any other duties the manager deems necessary to ensure the business operates smoothly.
- To adhere to operating procedures relating to goods receipt and despatch, use of mechanical handling equipment with Health & Safety requirements.
- To consolidate produce within each store as directed to optimise space utilisation and facilitate stock counting.
- To report any defects in relation to pallet integrity, product integrity or fabrication to the Shift manager/Supervisor.
- To check daily that mechanical handling equipment is in good order, clean and safe to operate, completing relevant paperwork.
- To ensure that the storage areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- To adhere to all aspects of the company’s Health & Safety Handbook.
- To undertake any other duties deemed necessary by management to fulfil the company’s requirements.
- Counter Balance licence within 3 years of training.
- Numerate
