Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maximizes equipment capabilities, applies new technologies, and/or productive capabilities.
Provides technical leadership concerning flexographic and digital printing issues.
Provides leadership to shift concerning quality, safety, productivity and daily activities.
Identify and develop employees for promotion opportunities.
Maintains accurate personnel records. Provides positive counseling when necessary.
Develops and maintains an effective and involved work force through performance leadership, education, communications, and policies which support diversity and team effectiveness.
Manages all customer interfaces during assigned shift.
Provides prompt and accurate service to the manufacturing floor, ensuring that downtime is minimized.
Develops manufacturing plans, monitors quality, and delivers services which will attract and retain customers.
Uses ethical business practices in dealing with customers, employees, vendors, suppliers, and the community.
Manages and implements changes to ensure continuous improvement.
Must be available to work weekends.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
REQUIRED BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
3-5 years in direct mail printing environment or equivalent production, warehouse and/or distribution center experience
Demonstrated leadership ability involving the direct supervision of multiple individuals.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to hold self and others accountable for meeting performance expectations.
Self-starter with exceptional time management, organizational and problem-solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and problem solve with limited resources.
1-2 years leadership experience
Familiarity with postal specifications and regulations
Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional Information
The national pay range for this role is $62,800 to $111,400 / year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
