Job Description
The Data Entry Analyst for the Private Equity Solutions team will engage in projects involving client data management within the team’s proprietary database, inputting deal-related data into the firm’s CRM, and conducting research. This role offers an insider's view of the investment banking industry, particularly in understanding how private equity coverage is approached and executed.
*This is an outsourced role, servicing an investment banking client of RRD.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm ET
Responsibilities
Maintenance of multiple databases in Excel and Salesforce
General company and industry information gathering and tracking
Research for creating company specific and industry reports
Data gathering and client profiling to support M&A pitch activity
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Library and Information Science
One year of full-time or internship experience in financial research and analysis preferred
Previous Data Entry, Administrative, Customer Service, Analytics, or banking experience preferred
Excellent quantitative analytical skills and experience preferred
Experience or desire to begin working with financial services and related organizations including brokerage firms, consulting agencies, third-party research outfits, investment banks, market research companies, private equity firms, corporate finance firms, etc.
Database/Research skills a plus
Exposure to any of the following data sources is a plus: HIS, Euromonitor, IBISWorld, Statista, Fitch Solutions, Industry Associations, Consulting Agencies, Google Scholar, and Other Secondary Market Research Agencies.
Willingness to learn research sources for quantitative and qualitative industry information within macroeconomic and industry sectors and apply it to investment banking needs
Background in research at financial services, corporate research libraries, consulting, or professional services firms, or a strong desire to gain this industry expertise
Effective time and project management skills to effectively coordinate team workflows and ensure high productivity
Aptitude and enthusiasm to collaborate with global/virtual teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions
Refined written and oral communication skills to provide fluidity across working relationships
Strong work ethic, proactive, enthusiastic attitude, and eager team contributor
Flexible approach to duties
Technology literate (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Skype, Zoom, etc.)
Awareness of and adept use of public information and proficiency with multiple proprietary tools and databases
Additional Information
The national pay range for this role is $51,800 to $85,300 annually. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
