This is a unique and critically important role at Anon. We have a very good idea of the roles and responsibilities, but the right candidate can choose their own title.
This person will span growth, product, and (to a lesser extent) operations. On a team that is otherwise only engineering and design, this person will work closely with the founders to grow the business, identify strategic opportunities, and set the product roadmap.
Specifically:
The role is likely 40% growth (sales, marketing, support), 30% product, and 30% internal operations.
This person will be heavily involved in product development, serving as the voice of the customer and helping set and guide our product roadmap.
They will also be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies, including outbound sales, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives. This will be both working closely alongside the CEO as well as leading verticals/pipelines completely.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong product sense and the ability to think strategically about the business holistically.
He/she should be able to spearhead entirely new initiatives, gathering data and iterating based on market and customer feedback.
Ideal candidates are former founders or those with experience in product and/or growth at early-stage companies or in product ownership functions in larger organizations.
Create, structure, and execute against a product roadmap, working closely with the founders and engineering team, based on customer feedback, industry trends, and first principles thinking.
Design and implement outbound sales strategies to acquire new customers and drive revenue growth.
Develop Anon's brand and marketing presence, including managing marketing campaigns across various channels to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
Provide exceptional customer support by managing the customer onboarding process and working closely with customers during onboarding to understand pain points and interest in new features.
Analyze data to identify growth opportunities to optimize our sales, including helping to design the sales process and cadence.
Identify and pursue partnership opportunities that can drive growth and expand our reach.
Background in a product ownership role or as a founder or in a role that encompassed product strategy and/or growth.
Strong product sense and ability to think strategically about product development.
Experience with data analysis and using data to inform growth strategies.
Bonus points for experience with developer tools or in the AI/ML space.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
