The successful candidate will lead our engineering efforts, overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of our software development and testing processes.
You will manage a team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products and services that meet both time and budget constraints.
Your daily activities as an Engineering manager (Mobile team) will be:
- Design and Optimization: Implement and continuously refine software development and testing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Leadership: Lead a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality software product delivery on schedule and within budget.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and integrate product requirements effectively.
- Standards Development: Develop and enforce engineering best practices, standards, and procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
- Team Management: Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluation processes for the engineering team to build and maintain a high-performing team.
- Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team and across the company, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with senior management and stakeholders, providing regular updates on engineering activities, progress, and potential risks.
You are best for this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering complex mobile products.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position, with responsibilities including managing and mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong technical background with expertise in software development, architecture, and adherence to engineering best practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with the capacity to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to driving innovation and fostering continuous improvement within technology projects.
- Proficient in agile development methodologies.
- Ability to freely communicate in English
