Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Finance Manager to be a key member in the AWS Global Sales (AGS) Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon. As a Finance Manager, you will provide CFO-level support to one or more AWS customer segments. This role directly supports AGS Sales VPs, and works across business units, functional, and strategy teams to drive scalable, long-term initiatives.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop & maintain effective business partnership throughout short- and long-term financial planning cycles.
- Deliver thought leadership on how to drive revenue growth and productivity, documenting and socializing best practices to leadership and across sales teams.
- Build models to measure the impact of past initiatives, assess the feasibility of new ideas, and support decision making.
- Present financial and business insights to senior management
- Develop scaling mechanisms and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience

Preferred Qualifications

- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
