Job Description
We are seeking Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for an Inpatient GU, Breast, and GI Float role. You would oversee patients on inpatient Breast, Gastrointestinal and Genitourinary medicine teams. All three teams are led by APPs in collaboration with medical oncologist and hospitalists to care for patients who are admitted with treatment related side effects and symptom management. You will become proficient in caring for patients with breast, prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, pancreatic, esophageal, colorectal, gastric and hepatocellular cancers.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will join a team of over 900 NPs and PAs across MSK who are dedicated to delivering compassionate, expert and comprehensive cancer care to patients and families.
HOURS: 12.5 hour shifts, 6a-7:30p weekend and holiday rotation is required

YOU WILL:
- Collaborate with multiple physicians and healthcare team members
- Deliver comprehensive care to inpatient GU patients, in addition to clinical trial phase 1 patients
- Meet the medical needs of patients
- Participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum
