Job Role
Capco is looking for a Global L&D Project Advisor. This role will report directly into the Global Head of L&D and be based in London.
The Learning and Development function at Capco is constantly evolving in order to support our business and build our talent. This is done by operating as an internal consultancy to add value to our business by attracting, retaining, and developing the best talent. This role will work to create opportunities for knowledge sharing, enhance quality of learning while providing project support across Global L&D initiatives, and an opportunity to design and deliver training interventions. This entails working with key stakeholders from the business to ensure that L&D initiatives are in line with business demands and alignment with Capco's values, culture and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the business to support design and roll-out of new training as required
Engage the business to understand business needs and gaps in Global Training Curriculum
Project plan, project manage, and execute Global L&D priorities, working with global and regional stakeholders
Evaluate modes of training delivery, such as in-person or virtual to optimize training effectiveness and training costs
Evaluate training materials prepared by instructors and provide SME advice on effective structure, content, and engagement activities
Deliver the interpersonal training curriculum, online and face to face, examples include Presentation Skills, Coaching Skills, Management training
Keep up with developments in area of expertise by reading current journals, books, or magazine articles.
Provide L&D subject matter expertise to projects and initiatives across the business
Provide events management support to ensure streamlined execution of large training programs
Vendor management; liaising with external vendors from venue hire to training delivery, representing the Capco brand in the external market, negotiating costs
Skills & Experience
Proactive and a positive “can do” attitude is essential
Ability to interact and communicate with people of all levels, from graduates to senior leaders
Previous demonstrable success in a Learning and Development role
Demonstrable experience running or delivering change in a project environment
Understanding of a consulting environment, whether having worked at a consultancy or alongside one, particularly how training needs may differ with a workforce in multiple locations
Ability to multi task and manage several tasks / projects at the same time
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels
Ability to work under pressure whilst ensuring accuracy and maintaining focus
High attention to detail and execution excellence
Strong technical skills: PowerPoint & Excel
Strive for operational excellence and making a personal difference in a fast-paced environment
Client-focused and proactive with a strong mind-set for continuous improvement
Highly collaborative style. A demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with global teams
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and successfully manage multiple challenges
