EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have an opportunity for you to join our Human Resources team, as our new Employee Relations Specialist. In this role, you’ll manage employee relations casework with managers and employees across Seven Trent through to resolution, ensuring a fair and consistent application of our policies and processes are adhered to.
You’ll ensure that HR policies and guidelines are fit for purpose, comply with legislative changes, are well maintained, implemented effectively, and deliver best practice. Using your knowledge and experience, you’ll support our frontline HR Hub Advisors, coaching them to deliver accurate HR advice and guidance to managers and colleagues across the business.
There will also be a chance for you to undertake project work that will help drive Organisation Effectiveness.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To be successful in this role, you’ll need a good understanding of HR policies and terms and conditions of employment including the latest legislative updates, with experience of how to interpret them and apply them in practice. You’ll have had exposure to managing difficult Employee Relations situations, with demonstrable results of successful resolutions and will be comfortable in coaching line managers and colleagues, as well as delivering training and presentations.
You’ll need to possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to use effective listening and questioning. It’s expected that you’ll be able to build rapport with various stakeholders, so possessing excellent influencing and engagement skills would be advantageous.
