EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our Asset Strategy team have an excellent opportunity to join as our new Sustainable Abstraction Analyst.
In this role you’ll will work with technical experts and leads from the Sustainable Abstraction team and wider business on the above workstreams and provide technical support to ensure their successful delivery. You’ll also support the technical specialists by carrying out tasks such as: data collation, validation and analysis, GIS mapping and interpretation, report writing, project assurance.
Additionally, you’ll undertake a complex programme of environmental investigations and improvements as part of the Water Industry National Environmental Programme (WINEP) and will directly support the different WINEP workstreams within the Sustainable Abstraction Team.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We’re seeking our new Sustainable Abstraction Analyst to be comfortable using technical knowledge to identify recommended business improvement changes and business growth opportunities.
To be successful in this role you’ll have experience of defining and sourcing datasets, quality assuring data and analysing complex datasets to inform business decisions.
Additionally, you’ll have an understanding of the key datasets used in water supply / demand or environmental investment planning and have strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to deal with complex data.
It would also be beneficial if you have knowledge of ISO55001 Asset Management and ISO8000-1 for data quality and ideally come from a water/gas background, but this is not essential.
