EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Here at Severn Trent, our Software Analyst’s primary role is to support, configure, test, and maintain our ServiceNow system, which is used by the whole business. In this role you will be working closely with Application Managers, Architects, and IT Operations to ensure that the system runs smoothly and any issues are detected and fixed. As this is a system used by 10,000 colleagues, we’re looking for you to have a strong technical knowledge as well as great interpersonal skills to drive & thrive in a fast-paced, secure environment.
In the role, you’ll be contributing to the implementation, governance, and support of numerous applications and you’ll be responsible for analysing and testing new or updated application features, diagnosing, reporting application issues. As part of a dedicated team, you’ll work to deliver solutions that meet the needs of the business users, while promoting continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
The right skills and experience are important. But if you have the right character, positivity and a caring attitude we want to talk to you, too.
We’ll be looking for you to have experience in a Software Analyst role or similar ideally with a working knowledge of ServiceNow. Experience within a Software Development environment will be a real advantage for you as will understanding the Software development lifecycle. A familiarity with delivery methods such as SAFE (Agile) and Waterfall will be advantageous and a enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn
new technologies and skills will be welcomed.
