EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As our Bid Manager you’ll manage and oversee major Bid tenders, both winning and submitting tenders and play a major part in selling our services in the utility, private and public sectors by building long term partnerships and relationships.
Additionally, you’ll work with other departments to get commercial evaluation operational input and support the Sales Manager in the development of proposals and other documentation. You’ll also be the focal point for incoming tenders/enquiries and determination of decisions to bid recommendation by review of scope, timescales, commercial risks.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
In order to succeed in this role, you’ll have a proven track record in major bid management, multi-service contracts and working with company (bidder) and Customer staff at senior levels.
You’ll understand the importance of risk management and securing internal approvals and have the ability to ensure robust management of the bid team, advisors and stakeholders. You’ll also have a can-do-attitude and have strong written and commercial skills.
It would be desirable but not essential if you have operations or engineering experience in the utilities or public sector or working with local authorities.
You’ll ideally be based in the Midlands and as travel is required you’ll have to hold a full U.K driving license.
Of course, it’s important that we attract the right skill sets, and those with the right experience but we value character, positivity, and a caring attitude in equal weight.
