EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We’re looking for a Proactive Tactical TMA (Traffic Management Act) Analyst to join our Workforce Planning & Optimisation Team here at Severn Trent.
The objective of the role is to proactively ensure that we are compliant with TMA and permit legislation and that all works can go ahead legally.
You’ll ensure TMA fines and duration challenges from the Highways Authority are investigated and you’ll provide root cause analysis to reduce our cost of failure associated with street works. You’ll be active in investigating charges received, reporting your findings back to the wider team.
Daily tasks include working on our Click and SAP systems and making calls to check permits are where they need to be. You’ll communicate often with the Highways Authority and your Operational colleagues to share information on challenges.
You’ll also support on upskilling and training the wider team on the TMA process, and you’ll work with local authorities as a technical expert in the team.
In this role, you’ll be based at our Pride Park, Derby site where you can park for free or get to easily by public transport. Your working hours will be Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Someone with superior organisational and planning and the ability to work under pressure to defined deadlines will be in their element in this role.
Communication is key, you’ll pick up the phone to the Highway Authority and your operational colleagues when you need to pass on key information.
You’re a proactive person, using your initiative to investigate and resolve issues. Your attention to detail is on point, with the ability to take in lots of information, remember key information and relay messages accurately.
If you’re experienced on SAP and Click, that would be beneficial but if not, you’ll pick up the systems quickly when we teach you. We need a tech minded candidate so you’ll be comfortable being desk based working on a computer.
