EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
To attain the goal of water treatment with low carbon emissions in line with the UK’s Green Recovery Scheme, Severn Trent Water is designing a new 89 Ml/d water treatment works at their Witches Oak site utilising new and innovative technologies. The significance of the work you will do makes this such an exciting project to be a part of!
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will assist in the management of project deliverables from business case approval to closure, to make sure that these are achieved on time, within cost and to agreed quality standards.
You’ll scope and create project plans with input from the project team, whilst effectively working with both internal and external stakeholders.
You’ll also support with financial management of projects, alongside facilitating the resolution of arising issues.
You will support with commercial activities such as ordering chemicals to drive some of the day-to-day activities within the project.
You will have a lens of managing costs and forecasting, so any previous budget control or financial awareness would be advantageous.
In this role you’ll be supporting the Project Manager who will support you in every way of your journey to grow and to do more.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
You’ll join us with experience in a similar Assistant Project Manager role, using great co-ordination skills, great communication skills to drive effective project management.
It is imperative that you have great communication skills alongside a want to deliver work on time in a structured format.
It would be advantageous if you have used SAP previously with great commercial awareness.
Of course, it’s important that we attract the right skill sets, and those with the right experience but we value character, positivity, and a caring attitude in equal weight.
