Our Tactical Asset Planning Team includes a team of experts dedicated to the assets and customers in our Hafren Dyfrdwy area. This Asset Management - HD Team has an exciting opportunity to join as our new Network Optimisation Specialist, with a specific focus on the water distribution network.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Asset Management - HD Team has a clear vision – to be trusted experts and asset class specialists, who leverage the wider expertise of our Chief Engineer department, and provide a focal point for our Hafren Dyfrdwy Operational and Delivery teams. We work collaboratively to balance asset risk and performance across the investment portfolio, whilst understanding the local context of our customers and assets.
In this role you’ll be responsible for ensuring that Hafren Dyfrdwy meets and improves the water supply service our customers experience. You will provide technical expertise to monitor, evaluate and optimise the water distribution system for our customers and is why it’s key you’ll have a customer focused mindset.
When successful in role, you’ll act as the architect of our network ensuring the configuration and controls meet the company standards and are optimised to deliver a quality service and meet our regulatory standards. You’ll perform troubleshooting to system failures and identify resolutions to ensure long term efficiency of network.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We’re seeking our new Network Optimisation Specialist to be comfortable supporting our Senior Asset Engineer with identifying and prioritising investment opportunities, as well as helping our Demand Technicians to effectively target leakage and improve operability.
The ideal candidate will have experience of data analysis, with analytical skills in assessment of operational data to resolve complex issues. Experience within a water business, and hydraulic modelling using Synergi, are highly desirable.
As travel is required, it is also expected you will hold a full U.K driving licence.
