EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Learning and Development team as a L&D Consultant within our Leadership & Management Team who will define and advise on technical, professional and management capability levels across Severn Trent, mainly working with our operational teams.
You will contribute to the implementation and sustainability of learning and development strategy within the Academy. Designing and sourcing a range of cost-effective and appropriate learning interventions, from skills assessment, individual coaching to company-wide management development programmes across the breadth of Leadership and Management development.
You will need to be an effective communicator, with the ability to develop and manage relationships with internal and external resources, bodies and suppliers. Developing and maintaining credibility, expertise and current knowledge will be an essential part of this role, so you must be comfortable with networking both internally and externally. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a project-based environment, with a passion for development and be involved with the new Academy.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Leadership & Management Development Consultant who can connect with and work alongside our leaders to provide leadership training that they need in the moment. A strong understanding of operational teams, how leaders manage remotely providing the best service to customers, whilst achieving all performance objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in asking great questions to diagnose needs to design and deliver Management Development programmes in complex, multi-site environments.
Previous experience in coaching and behavioural development would be beneficial; managing people or similar role within Leadership & Management development would be required.
