Senior Engineer – Rod Control and Position Indication Systems
Your Day-to-Day:
Your Day-to-Day:
Lead the creation of drawings and design/technical specifications for Rod Control and Position Indication products.
Lead engineering calculations in support of design and analysis of Rod Control and Position Indication products.
Compile technical documents / specifications for procurement/manufacturing of Rod Control and Position Indication products.
Support supplier and/or manufacturing operations with technical issue resolution.
Hands-on installation and troubleshooting of Rod Control and Position Indication systems and equipment.
Support Test document creation and test execution on New Stanton testbed equipment.
Support Test document creation and test execution at the Warrendale production facility.
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
A bachelor’s degree in an Electrical Engineering or related discipline is required.
Minimum of 5 years engineering experience.
Knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis/design desired.
Awareness of field devices and control devices typical to the power industry is a plus.
Awareness of typical industry standard drawings including P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, cabinet drawings and panel layouts is a plus.
Knowledge of lab equipment use (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills and comfortable leading meetings and developing and delivering presentations.
Strong interpersonal skills, experience working effectively in a team environment.
Highly motivated, self-starter.
