Contract to potential hire in Jacksonville FL area
$15 - $19/hr depending on experience
Duties:
- Perform order fulfillment tasks such as picking, packing, and shipping products
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of items
- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory and update stock levels
- Operate warehouse equipment including cherry pickers, cranes, and RF scanners
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations
Skills:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Proficient in using warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers, cranes, and RF scanners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track inventory
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for data entry and utilizing warehouse management systems
