Under the general direction of the Plant Manager, at the Hunt Valley Plant provides leadership for the Maintenance function to over 110 team members within a high-performance team environment. Oversees the strategic direction of the function and drives improvement activities through the development of people and processes. Works to develop strategic roadmap utilizing TPM and delivering progress to the goals. Has overall accountability for the results of the team. Fully responsible for standing up the PM Pillar and utilizing Total Productive Maintenance techniques to build a solid maintenance strategy. This position will serve on the Plant Senior Leadership Team as the voice for the Maintenance function for the entire facility. Additional strategic project work outside of Maintenance will be assigned to this position.

Level of Education and Discipline
BSc in Relevant Technical Discipline or applicable diploma related courses and experience preferred
Certification and/or Licenses
Experience - functional/industry/commercial knowledge, business acumen
Individuals will generally enter this role with a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience, preferably within the food and beverage industry. Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and P.M. (preventative maintenance) practices. Experience in Food Processing an asset. The job requires a detailed understanding of how all areas of the plant interact to contribute to the business. Requires a general understanding of the industry. Requires basic commercial awareness as it relates to competition but only requires limited understanding of the latest developments in the industry. Demonstration of project management through successful completion of complex projects. This role has contact with suppliers, vendors, and key customers for assigned areas. Strong relationships with HQ Engineering, Marketing, Packaging Development, Plants. Provides mentoring, coaching and leading technology and technical skills development.
