Job Summary:
Qorvo's EDA is seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern to join our team on machine learning projects, focused specifically on the development and implementation of supervised machine learning techniques for approximating complex models. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundational knowledge in machine learning principles and be proficient in architecting and debugging neural networks. This role requires a hands-on approach to working with data, including cleaning and preprocessing datasets, as well as the creativity and analytical skills to synthesize additional data to enhance model training processes. Responsibilities:
Data processing: clean up, synthesis, engineered features, etc.
Design of neural networks
Debugging of neural networks
Qualifications:
Degree: Computer Science with focus on Machine Learning
Good Python/C++ programming capabilities
Length (9 months availability: Full time first 3 months, part time last 6 months)
Moderate Version control skills utilizing Git
Supervised Machine Learning focus is preferred
Familiarity with the use of IDEs
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of algorithms and data-structures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, independent, proactive, detail oriented, and responsible team-player
This position requires export control work. Selected candidate must be able to obtain necessary licenses.
