Job Purpose and Impact
The General Laborer I, will perform routine and repetitive physical production and warehouse responsibilities following established policies and procedures with frequent guidance. In this role, you will support production operations while following all food safety and regulatory polices as required.

Principal Accountabilities
Perform repetitive positioning of materials and parts for production per direct instruction
Convey materials and items within production and warehouse areas other designated areas by hand, hand truck or electric hand truck
Lift and stack materials, products, tools or equipment
Hand pack product into materials
Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
Locate and select products to fulfill customer orders in a temperature controlled environment
Stack and wrap product on pallets following proper selecting procedures.
Engage an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport products
Perform general warehouse duties as necessary
Required Qualifications
Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack
Ensuring timely and efficient throughput of products
Ensure that all standard operating procedures are being met
Reporting any deficiencies in selecting processes and suggesting new alternatives/methods to improve these processes
Ensure that all food safety procedures and practices are being followed

Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual preferred, but not required
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Previous experience on a high reach truck
Prior work history in a fast-paced production environment
Prior experience leading diverse teams in the meat industry or warehouse environment
