A Typical Work Day May Include:
-
Operate all plant equipment, Plant sanitation via normal/high pressure water hose or shoveling/material handling
-
Monitoring and controlling the various unit operations via the process control system, checking product quality and progress
-
Performing quality checks on raw materials, intermediate process streams, and finished products, using a variety of laboratory equipment

Operation of all plant rolling stock including Rail movers, pay-loader, bobcat, forklift, scissors lift and skyjack
-
Performing a variety of preventive/planned basic maintenance tasks on plant systems and equipment. Also being directly involved with improvement of these systems and the equipment

Participate in team roles and discussions; and function as a working member of a high-performance work team

Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility

Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

Basic use of a computer

Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation

Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, also handling of chemicals, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator

Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
