Overview
As a Maintenance Supply Coordinator at Givaudan, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our maintenance activities. You will be responsible for coordinating the procurement and distribution of maintenance supplies, equipment, and spare parts. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Supply Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance teams to understand their supply needs and coordinate the timely procurement and delivery of maintenance supplies, equipment, and spare parts. Ensure that all supplies are readily available when needed to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of maintenance supplies. Communicate any changes or delays in the supply chain to the appropriate parties and proactively address any issues that may impact maintenance operations.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels of maintenance supplies to ensure optimal stock levels. Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to identify any discrepancies and take appropriate actions to reconcile inventory records.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance supply orders, deliveries, and inventory levels. Generate reports on supply usage, costs, and trends to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with maintenance teams, warehouse personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and communication regarding maintenance supply needs. Act as a liaison between different departments to facilitate efficient supply chain operations.
