Key Account Manager - Your future position?

As a Key Account Manager at Givaudan, you will work for a company that touches billions of consumers more than a hundred times a day. In your role, you will contribute to the team with your experience and network in the food industry. You will contribute to our growth with your advanced skills across assigned account management, leading and influencing others, and strategic account planning. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be part of our Commercial Team UK & Ireland.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Grow Givaudan business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines
  • Assume lead role for all Givaudan activities for designated accounts
  • Cultivate customer relationships with main decision-makers, positioning Givaudan as preferred supplier
  • Develop, communicate and implement strategic ADPs, sales forecasts, and budget for key accounts, with clear goals
  • Manage brief pipeline (quality and quantity of projects) to achieve growth plans
  • Defend base business in key markets and with key customers
  • Negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines and manage credit, pricing, rebates, fFor key accounts

 

Academic Background

  • University degree

Experience

  • 4+ years successful sales, marketing or customer relationship experience in food or related industry

Technical Skills

  • Apply strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting skills to develop ADPs
  • Knowledge of customers and competition
  • Understanding of customer strategy, initiatives, priorities, launch processes, and how to position Givaudan offerings
  • Understanding of profitability goals for key accounts
  • Can accomplish all account management steps in the brief handling process; understand how to manage scale-
  • ups
  • Can effectively generate new business by identifying unmet customer needs
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key customer decision-makers
