JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Skilled Production Swing to join our growing team.
American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for a Painter - Skilled Production to assist our Distribution Divisions in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces and distributes an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl and aluminum windows.
This position starts at 2 PM. Initial training will occur during the day shift starting at 5 AM.
Position Responsibility:
- Operates high output paint equipment by applying paint with pneumatic spray gun
- Maintains high quality standards
- Attention to detail on all paperwork and documentation
- Consistently adheres to safe work practices
Other Important Requirements:
- Experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinetry, etc.)
- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Past experience with paints, stains, and color matching
- General knowledge of building materials
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Positive outgoing attitude
- Self-motivated, goal oriented
- Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to promote and maintain a TEAM atmosphere
Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.

Expected pay for this role is between $21.03 to $23.98 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
