HIRING NOW – JELD-WEN is currently seeking several Warehouse Operatives to join our growing team in Sheffield.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.
Immediate start available
Rotating shifts:
AM: Monday to Friday 6:00-14:00 (Friday shift 6:00-13:00)
PM: Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00 (Friday shift 13:00-20:00)
Full-time, permanent contract
Overtime available at enhanced rates
Our distribution team members work within a fast-paced production environment and are required to achieve safety, quality and productivity standards.
Your responsibilities include:
- Contributing to safety audits and SIO generation (Safety Improvement Opportunities), creating a culture of ‘safety first.’
- Ensuring full compliance of Health and Safety procedures including SOP adherence, PPE and Workwear and incident investigations.
- Reporting any safety issues promptly, reinforcing policies to others where needed.
- Sustaining good housekeeping standards.
- Actively participating in capturing and closing out 3C SQDCIP actions.
- Following standard work help to deliver SQDCIP targets.
