Are you excited by the opportunity to lead on a number of different projects, ranging in cost, size and disciplined? Are you a Project Manager with experience in heavy civil engineering, or a similar industry? We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team based in Liverpool and help us keep the world moving!
You will perform all Project Management duties, ensuring briefs are agreed, contracts in place and works managed to budget and in line with agreed Health, Safety and Quality standards. You will manage projects through their lifecycle; through feasibility, approval, design, construction, completion commissioning, handover and post project review. Leading the core project team, you will ensure effective engagement with all stakeholders in the development and delivery of projects.
You will ensure robust financial management and commercial awareness forms the foundation of all business decisions, using appropriate project monitoring and reporting systems to provide a professional, consistent and effective Project Management service to all stakeholders. Identifying and managing risks within the project lifecycle, you will prepare and maintain risk registers and implement mitigation plans.
You will have proven experience of managing infrastructure projects, ideally in an Engineering, Marine, Industrial, or similar environment, with the ability to manage several projects concurrently. You will have experience of commercial construction contracts, ideally NEC3 Options A and C, alongside experience in the selection and appointment of both consultants and contractors.
You will ideally be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Construction, Engineering or a Project Management related discipline, and preferably be chartered. Due to the anticipated location of Projects, you will be willing and able to travel to other sites within the Group.
